Six years ago, when an Orange County Ca based Sportbike club set out to help a local orphanage no one realized it would turn into a huge tradition helping hundreds of kids every year. Now, known to most Sportbike riders as TOYRIDE, we host the only Sportbike charity event of its kind. Rain or shine, we ride for foster children.

The first few years the children at Hollygrove were well cared for by the generous donations collected at the various ToyRide events. Last year, as they transitioned the Hollygrove kids into foster care we followed right along. ToyRide announced Los Angeles DCFS as the recipient for the 2005 donations. A Christmas party for all the ToyRide recipient children was held and SANTA came in on a Sportbike of course! All proceeds after expenses benefit DCFS. In an effort to help thousands of foster children in Southern California, Cash funds will be donated to Celebration One, which awards college scholarships to students in the Independent Living and Foster programs.
